I mainly shape modern retro fishes and shortboards, boards with volume and area that get you into waves easily, generate a lot of speed and drive but sill turn in a sixpence. I shaped my first board in 1981 and have been making them on a part time basis for myself and friends since then. Thrusters, quads, twins, singles, bonzas and twinzers. Flat bottoms, concaves, chines and channels I like to do them all. Most of my boards are constructed from polyurethane foam and polyester resin, although I specialise in custom timber surfboards both hollow and polystyrene cored. .

The Flying Fish is is a great all rounder fish. Best as a 3 - 4 set up but can be fine tuned to a twin or a single design. Single to double concave with extra width and thickness. Board pictured is 5'10" x 20 1/4" x 2 1/2" 32L.
